WHAT MAKES ANGUS THE LABELS NAPPIES BETTER THAN OTHER BRANDS?
One size fits most nappies fit babies from newborn to toddler meaning the one nappy will grow with your baby, saving you money and preventing waste. You can share nappies among siblings further simplifying things, with only one set of nappies being washed, prepped and put away. The all in two design means super fast drying times, by separating all pieces you can have nappies washed, dry and ready for use in no time. Add or remove inserts to customise absorbency depending on your child's unique needs.
HOW DO I PREPARE MY NEW CLOTH NAPPIES FOR USE?
1. Soak inserts overnight in water
2. Wash inserts and shells with detergent
3. Line dry in partial sun or cool tumble dry
4. Fit nappy to baby. Start with waist. Close to fit comfortably under babies belly with room to tuck two fingers into waist band. Second, fit snug around legs utilising rise snaps as necessary.
- You only need to perform this process once
HOW DO I WASH MY CLOTH NAPPIES?
-ROUTINE WASH-
1. Remove solids
2. Wash each days nappies through a short cycle, approx. 1 hour, same day at 60 degrees C
3. When you have enough for 3/4 of a load wash, run a long wash at 40 degrees C (every 3 days maximum). A 2+ hour long wash is ideal. Filling the machine 3/4 full is important for correct agitation of clothing. Too full may prevent adequate washing.
4. Line dry in partial sun or cool tumble dry.
- Use an enzymatic detergent at appropriate dosage for washing machine size
- Add a booster to your pre wash such as napisan
- Don't use fabric softener with your nappies as it will reduce absorbency
CAN I USE REUSABLE WET WIPES IF I USE DISPOSABLE NAPPIES?
Absolutely! We recommend all families use reusable bamboo wash cloths for wet wipes because they're just so easy. You can use just wet with water, or add a squirt of baby wash or essential oils as you wish. Washing is as simple as a hot pre wash and warm main wash as described above.
